| Comments: | Hi Dad wherever you are. Sorry you had to leave us so soon and that you couldn't enjoy the fruits of your labour for a lot longer. Will miss you greatly. Thanks for everything -- piano, ballet classes, summer camp and dinners at La Chaumiere; all those 16 mm home movies with their elaborate set-ups and animated titles; hiring me to work in your office when I was 14 to do flow charts for cards that fed info into those huge computers of the early 60s; instilling in me a love of the arts, travel, politics and filmmaking and a sense of fairness and justice; for your inspiration to follow your dreams and never give up no matter how difficult the path. Sorry I never learned to speak French, didn't keep up the piano or learn to cook. You will always remain in our hearts. Much love from your oldest daughter Elvira. |
